Thanks

Yesterday we had lunch with our guides and they gave us our certificates and we really had a nice time with them. We also had to give back the items we borrowed for the hike.

Today will be my last day in Moshi and I will be going to Dar-es-Salaam tomorrow. I am still working on my journal of the climb will posted it online by the end of today. Otherwise I just want to thank all of you who have supported me during this adventure and I will not forget it as it is a big experience for me, and I learnt a lot from both the porters and the guides e.g. how they struggle for their likelihoods and yet we have everything but we still complain. These guys carry more than 25kgs, run up hills without proper clothing and shoes, but since they have to feed their family and keep life going they have to do it to survive.

It keeps me thinking how blessed I am and how I should appreciate all the things life has given me.

My friends sister has now been discharged and is finally home after being admitted with High Altitude Pulmonary Edema on Monday evening.
