Today we had the initial meet and greet with our guide , he was a really nice guy and almost our age and made us feel like we were already at the summit. He went through our stuff and made a list of what we were missing, what we must have and what is not necessary. After that he took us to their store to get the items we did not have but would need (by the where very kind and generous and I would strongly recommend them).
He also explained to us about our meals and said that they will provide us with a lunch pack everyday and drinking water which will be treated. We were given a choice in the treatment method; either boiling or using water purifiers. We will all choose which ever method we prefer.
Think positive King and Queens of Kilimanjaro as there is no retreat and no surrender.
