Climbing Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the English Speaking Cancer Association

Follow me on my journey and help me raise funds for ESCA by pledging your support NOW!

I leave on 27 June and reach the summit (5895m) on 30 June, a climb of 4005 meters!

My name is Alex. I am a cancer survivor and an English Speaking Cancer Volunteer! I was diagnosed with Non HODGKIN's Lymphoma in 2002 and in 2005 the cancer came back . I had chemotherapy again and Stem Cell Transplant . I am now in full remission! This difficult journey of healing gradually revealed hidden gifts and skills and opened my heart. It made me a new person. I celebrate my health by running and climbing. I ran the Geneva Marathon and raised over CHF 2'000 for the English Speaking Cancer Association . I have also climbed Mt. Masada in Israel, hiked the Tour de Mt Blanc and climbed many other beautiful mountains in Switzerland , including the Matterhorn!
I will be climbing Kilimanjaro to celebrate my health and also to help the English Speaking Cancer Association, who helped me tremendously through my journey of healing . This is my way of helping them so they can continue to help others traveling the same journey I did!  Thanks for your support, Alex
