Wow what a day , I woke up, the birds singing , the sky bright , the air fresh ,I straight away said to myself this is a nice day for a ride.
After concluding my daily chores at around 11:20 am I was on way to montreux .
I went on the normal route , the bike treating me like a special client and life was just pleasant around the route.
I met some other bikers who were also taking this good weather to improve on thier riding and also those just riding for leisure .
It was all good till we reached 10 kilometres after Lausanne , we got a road diversion. Well we had to go up hill to the hight of 1040 metres before the descent to vevey .
I beg to say that the sight was breath taking and so panoramic so to speak but boy that was a hard ride.
The ride uphill is nothing to smile about but all the best for training and we succeeded nicely.
I did 180 kilometres 8hours and 10 minutes , the ride back was magnificent though the traffic was a nightmare it must have been the good weather contributing to people going or coming back from family outings but we managed to make it to geneve safely.
